Actress bhumi pednekar is in the news these days for her upcoming crime thriller film 'Bhakshak'. In this, the actress will be seen playing the role of a press reporter. Recently, in an interview, Bhumi revealed that she is so impressed with her character in 'Bhakshak' that now she will not be able to move ahead.

Bhumi said in her recent interview, “I don't think I will ever be able to move beyond bullying because this is something that is happening to young children in society. This is not specific to any one region of India, it can happen anywhere around us. These things will not be tolerated by you. It makes you angry and it also makes you question what you're doing about it."

Bhumi further added, “I hope the film leaves an impact on the audience where you question your decisions. It made me question my empathy and how I couldn't feel someone else's pain. It is just a film, but if we adopt it in our lives then we can make an important contribution to society."

In the film, Bhumi plays the role of Vaishali Singh, a local journalist from Bihar, who tries to expose cases of sexual abuse in a girl's shelter home.

The actress credits director Pulkit for helping her bring her character to life on screen. Talking about Bhumi Pednekar's film, 'Bhaksak' is a crime drama film, which is inspired by true events. Apart from Bhumi, the film also stars Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, and sai tamhankar in lead roles.
