Reportedly the strings of online betting company app Fairplay case now seem to be connected to rapper and singer Badshah
as well. According to news agency ANI, on Monday, the cyber cell of maharashtra Police has interrogated
badshah in the case of online betting company app Fairplay. Let us tell you that in this case, names of 40 stars
including actors Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, kapil sharma and Shraddha Kapoor had come forward.
badshah is accused of promoting FairPlay, a subsidiary of Mahadev App. This is the reason why the rapper was
summoned for questioning. badshah had promoted this app. FairPlay had screened the indian Premier League

What is the whole matter?
Actually, the broadcasting rights of IPL from 2023 to 2027 were with Viacom 18, but despite this, FairPlay
showed the cricket tournament on its platform from march 2023 to May 2023. After which Viacom 18 had filed a
complaint against the app.
Fairplay made badshah the brand ambassador
FairPlay is a gaming exchange app licensed by the Curacao authorities. In the initial months, this app made the
rapper its brand ambassador. Following the complaint of Viacom 18 network, a case of theft was registered
against the online betting company app Fairplay by the Cyber Cell of maharashtra Police. Viacom 18 network
had filed an FIR against 40 stars including rapper and actor Sanjay Dutt. These stars had promoted the app.
