Young Grandmaster wins the Chess championship title!
Young Grandmaster T. Gukesh from tamil Nadu has created history by winning the World Chess Championship. This collection traces his amazing journey of realizing his dream at the age of 7. He defeated the reigning champion Ding Liran on thursday to win the World Chess championship 2024. With this victory, indian Grandmaster Gukesh has become the 18th Classical Chess World Champion. That too at a very young age. Gukesh, who won the 14th game, cried tears of joy. Gukesh secured victory in the last classical time control game of the 14-game. Gukesh scored 7.5 points to Liran's 6.5 points. With the game mostly heading towards a draw, Liran's last-minute mistake turned out to be in Gukesh's favor.
Young Grandmaster Gukesh has won several notable titles in the chess world. He is ranked 3rd among the youngest grandmasters. He is the third youngest grandmaster to reach a rating of 2700 on the Chess Ratings. Later, he became the first youngest grandmaster to reach a rating of 2750. Since the launch of the Candidates Chess Tournament in 2020, he has been training at the Westbridge anand Chess Academy (WACA) to participate in it. Westbridge capital has been sponsoring him since 2023. Gukesh was born in chennai to a telugu family. His father, Rajinikanth, is an ear, nose, and throat surgeon. Gukesh's mother, Padma, is an expert in microbiology. Gukesh, who has been playing chess since the age of seven, achieved the highest achievement in his beloved game today.


The prime minister has congratulated Gukesh for winning the World Chess championship title. The indian prime minister, who congratulated the team on Twitter, also noted that unparalleled talent and hard work have led to this success.
