At present, when the ship passes, the vertical bridge is lifted up to a height of 17 m by a hydraulic machine like a lift, for which four piers are erected in the center. At the upper part of this pillar, the work of installing the traction machine-like wheels to raise and lower the curtain of the vertical bridge is in full swing. Once these works are completed the vertical bridge weighing 700 tons is installed and girders are installed in other areas, the works will be complete. At present, 100 percent work has been completed for a distance of 1.6 km. Officials said that all the works will be completed by this year and train services will start on the new bridge.
