Hadrik Pandya as India Captain - Disaster or Good ?

SIBY JEYYA
Virat kohli and Rohit Sharma's retirements marked the end of an era of great indian t20 cricket. Rohit has already withdrawn from the t20 format after leading the team admirably in each of the game's three phases. hardik pandya is the incoming captain of the indian team in this scenario, and things might go anyway. First, there have been rumors of animosity between hardik and surya Kumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah, two of his IPL colleagues. This was extensively disseminated across the IPL.

If that is indeed the case, managing the indian cricket team would be an incredible task for hardik, who struggles to maintain control over his dressing room during the IPL. hardik is a terrific player with crucial playmaking skills, but he doesn't strike me as a strong leader who can command the locker room.

Every player on the squad respected and revered players like ms dhoni and Rohit Sharma. They were the best leaders of the indian cricket team because of this. It's the confident bossman that's lacking in Hardik's situation. Whatever is said or done, if hardik performs as expected of a full-time captain, then everything works out. If not, indian cricket may have a disastrous run and a new skipper may need to be found.
