Negative Propaganda Against Prabhas ?

SIBY JEYYA
Prabhas' kalki 2898 AD is doing well at the box office despite conflicting reviews. The movie is performing admirably in tamil Nadu and Kerala, tremendously in Hindi, and passably in telugu regions. It's shattering records here in the US. On the other hand, there have been doubts expressed regarding Kalki's box office earnings accuracy. An article in a well-known national news outlet accused the filmmakers of manipulating the figures to deceive the audience.

In interviews with the portal, several Northern trade analysts and influencers said that the manufacturers were inflating the collections in the press. The creators assert that the movie has made 700 crores globally, despite trade figures suggesting it has only made 550 crores. Some critics claim that the film's creators are frantically trying to reach the 1000 crore milestone, even though the movie may only make a maximum of 850 crores.

For big blockbusters, disputes over box office receipts are typical. These kinds of disparities have been reported before. But why, one wonders, is the national media trying to cast a negative light on a telugu movie that is doing incredibly well? Some fans contend that telugu films, which are surpassing bollywood productions with actors like salman khan and Akshay Kumar, are the target of a purposeful negative propaganda effort.

Prabhas has become a pan-Indian superstar due to the support of the Hindi-speaking public. Some in bollywood find it difficult to accept this achievement, which has led to the publication of these agenda-driven essays. But now the story has been removed from the news portal.
