Voting for the 48 lok sabha seats in Maharashtra, where the two most formidable alliances are fighting in the most difficult elections, are the ruling Mahayuti, which is made up of the bjp, ncp (Ajit Pawar), and shiv sena (Eknath Shinde), and the MVA, or maha Aghadi, which is composed of the Sena (Uddhav balasaheb Thackeray), ncp (Sharad Pawar), and Congress. Voting for these seats begins at 8 a.m. Within the first few hours, it is anticipated that the first trends will be released. 

The national democratic alliance (NDA), led by the bharatiya janata party (BJP), is expected to win in Maharashtra, according to the exit poll. The exit poll predicts that the bjp will win 20–23 seats while the nda will likely win 32–35 seats. According to the survey, the indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc may gain 15–18 seats, with 6–8 going to the Congress. According to the exit poll, the india group would receive 40% of the vote, and the nda would receive 48%.

The bjp ran for 28 seats in Mahayuti, Shinde for 14, and the Ajit Pawar-led ncp for five. The MVA awarded congress 17 seats, 10 to the ncp (SP), and 21 to the shiv sena (UBT). piyush goyal (BJP, mumbai North), arvind sawant (Shiv Sena UBT, mumbai South), varsha Gaikwad (Congress, mumbai North Central), Kapil Patil (BJP, Bhiwandi), Rajan Vichare (Shiv Sena UBT, Thane), Shrikant Shinde (Shiv Sena, Kalyan), Raosaheb Danve (BJP, Jalna), Pankaja Munde (BJP, Beed), Sujay Vikhe-Patil (BJP, Ahmednagar), nitin gadkari (BJP, Nagpur), supriya sule (NCP SP, Baramati), and Sudhir Mungantiwar (BJP, Chandrapur) are some of the prominent candidates. There are 48 lok sabha seats available to Maharashtra. Three voting stages were held in the state, and 61.33 percent of voters cast ballots.
