A picture of a 22-year-old telangana guy ordering alcohol by phoning 100 has gone viral across a number of Telegram channels. But notwithstanding what is said, the picture is not recent. The Quint claims that the widely shared photo dates back to september 2013. It displays an illustration of a police officer on the phone with a collage of police officers (it is unclear to which state police agency they are affiliated with).

News report two years old

A 22-year-old guy from telangana was scheduled to order cold beer by dialing 100. The picture states, "He later contended that police are public servants.
While the report is accurate, the incident's timing is incorrect. The event took place in May 2022.

J Madhu, a 22-year-old from the Vikarabad area, called the Daulatabad police while intoxicated and claimed to be the victim of an attack. police officers were startled to discover the Madhu drunk when they arrived at the scene. He maintained that providing him beer is also a "need" and that police are public servants who should be attending to the needs of the public.

Image ten years old

A reverse image search led to an india TV news story from september 2013 with the following headline: Two police officers were murdered in a Junagadh district accident.

Gujarat has the district of Junagadh. Therefore, contrary to what the photo purports, the police officer in the widely shared photograph is from gujarat, not Telangana.
