WoW... Petrol and Diesel Prices cut by 1 PAISA after 16 Days

The Petrol and Diesel Prices are nearing Rs.100 and after 16 days of nonstop hike, they have fallen today. Whoa. Hold on! The prices were cut down by 1 PAISA. Well, we repeat, it's just 1 PAISA and we are clear with our news.



Earlier today, the IOC website reported that the petrol and diesel prices have been cut by 60 paise and 56 paise per liter, but it was reported as an error and the actual fall was just 1 PAISA. This is the first time in 16 days the prices have been cut since May 14th after fuel retailers data-faced a spike in Global Oil rates.



The prices vary among the states as it depends on the Local sales tax and VAT (Value Added Tax). Delhi has the cheapest price among all metros and most state capitals. Petrol fetched Rs 78.42 in Delhi while in Mumbai it was sold for Rs 86.23 per liter today. Meanwhile, diesel was sold at Rs 69.30 in Delhi and Rs 73.78 in Mumbai.
