Mahesh Babu Director becomes the Most Shameful Trolled Director

G GOWTHAM
When Family Star debuted in theatres, it met with an embarrassing end. Expectations were high for this film, which starred vijay deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur and was directed by Parasuram. dil raju was the producer. Trouble was indicated from the beginning, though, as the movie was met with a deluge of unfavourable reviews and word-of-mouth following its initial showing. Sadly, it was an epic failure that never recovered from this early setback.

Even since its OTT premiere, the film hasn't been spared criticism as of yet. After a poor theatrical run, it's common for some films to get some traction on OTT, but Family Star's humiliation doesn't end there. Film excerpts are all over social media, and this has led to harsh criticism directed at parasuram in particular, for having thought up such situations. Among the audience, one moment in particular has incited rage. It shows the character played by vijay deverakonda threatening ladies with r*pe. How can a hero openly declare that every man in his family has the ability to commit rape? In spite of the fact that it's intended to oppose the antagonist, it's an example of misandry.

It appears that the filmmaker has run out of ideas when they portray sexual assault against women as a kind of valour in a purportedly family-friendly film. By normalising or trivialising violence against women and portraying them as enhancements to the hero's persona, the filmmakers foster negative views that may have repercussions in the real world. Because geetha govindam was entertaining, parasuram was able to avoid trolls; nonetheless, Mahesh Babu's Sarkau Vaari Paata received harsh criticism for many moments. But Family Star elevates this humiliation to a completely new plane.

Parasuram will be plagued by Family Star for a very long period. vijay deverakonda ought to be cautious while choosing a script and before approving passages like this. He has a duty as a youth idol because of his enormous impact on younger audiences. Hopefully, his upcoming movie will eradicate the evils of Family Star, since it seems promising.
