It is invalid to differentiate or discriminate between the incarnations of god because there may be a difference in the eyesight but there is no difference between feeling and duties. Especially when we talk about Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. Both krishna and Shri ram were born in different eras. krishna incarnated in Dwapar yuga and ram in Tretayuga. The nature of both of them was very different, where krishna was very bubbly, and simple, while Lord Shri ram was Maryada Purushottam. There is a lot of difference between the two, but despite this, there are many similarities. 

The story of Shri ram was narrated by Lord shankar by Mother Parvati. This holy story of Shri ram, which came out from the mouth of Shankar, is known as Ramayana. First of all, the evidences of Adhyatma Ramayana shows that Rama and krishna are one.

The similarity of both is also revealed in Valmiki Ramayana.

Shri ram was the seventh incarnation of Shri Krishna, but both were incarnations of Shri hari Vishnu. Both these devotees were full of devotion. He had great affection for his devotees. Everyone is familiar with the love of Krishna, and the relationship between Lord Shri ram and devotee Hanuman was also very deep.

Lord Shri ram was the king of Ayodhya, then the same krishna was also Dwarakadhish, that is, both were kings.

Both worshipped Mahadev and Matha Parvati and considered them to be paramount. Hanuman supported both Lord Shri ram and Shri krishna in the war.
