Deepika's 'Padmavati' banned in this state too - The Third state to ban the movie even before the release!
Deepika Padukone's 'Padmavati' under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been facing some problems and the movie is already postponed indefinitely. Now, another state has joined Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and has banned the movie.
Bihar Government has decided to ban the movie and CM Nitish Kumar issued a statement that the movie won't get a release in Bihar until the concerned parties clarify the issue. Earlier Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani said the movie has scenes which hurt the sentiments of many and it won't be screened.
It should be remembered that Gujarat is about to data-face its elections this December. 'Padmavati' is said to have distorted some historical facts of the Rajputs and that is the main reason behind all the controversies. The movie has passed the censor board certification.
