CRDA in Andhra Pradesh has reportedly completed the process for
receiving objections and suggestions regarding the Amaravathi Master
Plan. The CRDA office in Vijayawada has so far received 8075 objections
as well as suggestions.
Sources say that CRDA has received more than 1000 objections on Tuesday
alone. Most of these objections are reportedly over Agriculture Zone. A
committee has been created to look into all these objections which may
take one month to resolve them.
Around 5000
Square Km of land in Capital region was earlier allotted as three
agriculture zones. Villages that fall under these zones are really
worried. Moreover the land rates in this area has very much gone down
and farmers are worried that the land rates will again not increase in
future.
Even ruling party leaders seem to be
worried that this proposal may be denting the party image in such
villages. CRDA officials is expecting to show some flexibility in this
regarding over Agriculture Zone. Now it would be important to see how
this issue will get resolved eventually!
