Telangana Hyderabad - Ice cream parlour, restaurant raided and unhygienic conditions found

On Saturday, the Food Safety Department's task team from telangana visited two establishments in Hyderabad's Himayatnagar neighborhood: an ice cream shop and a restaurant. Fungi and unsanitary conditions were found during the examination.

Products that had expired, including cheese, syrup, sandwich bread, ATC spices, and brown sugar, were discovered at Clove Vegetarian Fine Dine.
 
Additionally, there were live cockroaches discovered in the ice cream storage container, and the carrots had a fungal infection that made them unsafe to eat. Furthermore, it was found that cooked veggie biryani was kept in an unclean refrigerator.
 
The Food Safety Department made the decision to file adjudication proceedings and issue notifications following the inspection.

There was outdated strawberry paste stock at the Cream Stone location, and cans of pineapple titbits that weren't kept cold-chained.
 
After the inspection, cases for adjudication were filed and notifications were issued.
Such unsanitary conditions have been seen in hyderabad eateries previously, too. Concerns over the quality of food provided at the city's restaurants have previously been voiced by locals.
 
It is unclear what steps the task team will take to confront the Hyderabadi eatery and ice cream parlour.
