Challenges of the poorest states - let's know...

According to the report, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, two important states from the political point of view of india, are facing many problems in economic development. Uttar Pradesh's contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is only 9.5%. This means that Uttar Pradesh's share in the country's total economy is very low.

If we talk about Bihar, the contribution of this state is even less, only 4.3%. It is clear from this that this state is far behind in terms of economic development. Some improvements have been seen in Odisha, but still it is lagging behind in development like Bihar.

These states need to maintain coordination and implement better policies for development to improve their situation. If these states do not solve their problems, it will be difficult to move forward in economic development.

Reasons for stagnant growth in western and southern states

Industry and service sector: These states are developing rapidly in high-tech industries and service sectors. Bangalore is considered the 'Silicon Valley' of Karnataka, where there is a large center of IT companies.

Education and skill development: Many states in South india are focusing on higher education and skill development, due to which the youth here are getting good jobs. This is increasing economic activities.

Agriculture and horticulture: These states also have an important role in agriculture. For example, andhra pradesh and tamil Nadu are major in the production of fruits and vegetables.
