PM Modi Oath Ceremony: From UCC to Agniveer, JDU has made these 4 demands, bjp is also adamant on not giving 3 ministries

PM Modi Oath Ceremony: After the results of the lok sabha elections, the nda government under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi is preparing to take oath for the third time. A meeting of the alliance has been held, in which Modi has been unanimously declared as the data-face for the post of PM. After bjp in the alliance, the support letter has also been signed by both the big parties tdp and JDU. Despite this, there is no consensus on all issues within the NDA. All the parties are placing their demands in front of the biggest party of the alliance, BJP. Before the swearing-in ceremony on june 7, nda is going to meet again. Meanwhile, JDU, the party of bihar Chief minister nitish kumar, who is famous for changing sides the most, has publicly put forward 4 such demands on thursday, which can create a situation of confusion for BJP. On the other hand, in the distribution of ministries, amid the choices coming from the allies, bjp has made it clear that it will not bow down to the unnecessary demands of allies. It will keep the ministries related to the security of the country with itself. Due to this too, discord can start within the alliance.

First let us know what 4 demands JDU has put forward

Janata Dal United (JDU) general secretary and spokesperson KC Tyagi said on thursday that his party has given its support without any condition. We also have full support for 'One Nation, One Election'. But there are four such demands, which we want to consider. JDU and bjp are seen standing in different camps on these four demands mentioned by Tyagi. These four demands are as follows-

Uniform Civil Code (UCC): KC Tyagi said that we are not against UCC, but our demand is that a decision should be taken after listening to all the parties. There is a need to understand the views of all the stakeholders. nitish kumar has already written a letter to the Law Commission saying that we are not against it, but there is a need for extensive discussion on it.

Agniveer Scheme: Tyagi has pointed out the need to review the Agniveer scheme. He said, 'There is dissatisfaction among a large section of people regarding the Agniveer scheme. It has been opposed a lot and its effect was seen in the elections as well. According to me, the families of those who were posted in the army have also opposed it in the elections. Therefore, there is a need to think afresh about it.'

Special status to Bihar: Tyagi said, 'We have been demanding for a long time to give it the status of a special state to stop migration from Bihar. This will bring new industries and investments to bihar, which will create employment and development at the local level. There are no conditions. We have given unconditional support, but special status to bihar is an issue that is in our hearts.'

Caste Survey: Tyagi said, 'No party has opposed the caste census. prime minister Modi also did not deny it in the all-party meeting. Caste based census is the need of the hour. bihar has shown the way and we will continue to present it at the national level as well.'

BJP will not give this ministry to any party

Amidst the demands for ministries coming from the nda allies, the bjp has made it clear that it will not bow down to the unnecessary demands of the allies. Work will be done only under the alliance rules. It has also been said that the party will not give the ministry related to security to anyone. According to bjp sources, in the new government, the party will not give the Ministry of home Affairs, Ministry of Defense and the Finance Ministry related to the financial security of the country to any other party. bjp will keep these three ministries with itself.'

Allies have demanded these ministries

JDU, which has 12 lok sabha seats, has demanded three ministries from the BJP. These include Agriculture, Railways and Finance Ministry.TDP, which has 16 seats, has demanded 3 cabinet minister posts and 2 minister of state posts.
