Punjab Exit Poll 2024: Whose flag will fly in Punjab?

Voting has taken place in the last phase of lok sabha elections in punjab today. There is a tough fight on all 13 seats of Punjab. Surprising results have also come out in Today's Chanakya's exit poll. congress seems to be suffering a lot this time compared to the last lok sabha elections. At the same time, bjp, which is contesting elections separately from Shiromani Akali Dal for the first time, is seen getting 3 to 4 seats. At the same time, congress may have to be satisfied with just 3 to 4 seats this time. Apart from this, aam aadmi party does not seem to have much influence in punjab, it is likely to get 0 to 2 seats. Apart from this, other parties can get 1 to 3 seats.

This was the result in the last election

If we talk about the 2019 lok sabha elections, then PM Modi's wave could not show much effect in Punjab. congress had won 8 out of 13 lok sabha seats in Punjab. bjp which contested the elections in alliance with Shiromani Akali Dal was reduced to just 4 seats. aam aadmi party had also contested on 13 seats out of which it was able to win only one seat. In the 2014 lok sabha elections, Akali Dal and bjp alliance had won 6 seats.

BJP seems to be lagging behind in Punjab

According to the exit poll results, bjp seems to be lagging behind in Punjab. While in other states aam aadmi party and congress India were contesting the elections together under the alliance, in punjab both the parties have contested separately. Neither of the parties seems to be getting any special benefit from this. Let us tell you that the results of the lok sabha elections are to be declared on june 4.
