Voting is being held today (June 1) on all 13 lok sabha and chandigarh seats of Punjab. With the seventh and last phase of voting amid tight security, voting will be completed on all 13 seats of the state. Voting for the lok sabha elections 2024 will continue till 6.00 pm on june 1. During this, 23.91 percent voting has taken place till 11 am. Let us tell you that voting is being held on 13 seats in punjab under the seventh phase, which includes Amritsar, Anandpur Sahib, Bathinda, Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Khadoor Sahib, Ludhiana, Patiala, Sangrur. With this, a huge crowd of people was seen at all the polling stations. At some places, the queue started at the centers even before seven in the morning, while at other places the crowd was seen increasing continuously with time. However, the heat and scorching sun have started from the morning.

In the seventh phase of lok sabha elections 2024, the voting percentage in 13 seats of punjab was 23.91 percent. Know the seat wise figures here-

Let us tell you that 2.14 crore voters of punjab will decide the fate of 328 candidates. In this election, the reputation of 12 MLAs, 6 MPs and four political parties including five ministers is at stake. This is the first time in punjab when Bharatiya Janata Party, congress, aam aadmi party and Shiromani Akali Dal are in the fray. The main contest is between BJP, congress and AAP.

Congress has entered the election fray with its national level guarantees. aam aadmi party has reached out to the people with its two years of work. On the other hand, punjab BJP is contesting the election in the name of PM narendra Modi. Similarly, Shiromani Akali Dal is seeking people's support in the name of being a regional party. This time, all the parties have fielded their strong leaders in the election fray.
