Sukhpal Singh Khehra's allegation on PM Modi's statement…

PM Modi targeted congress on the statement given by congress candidate from Sangrur lok sabha constituency Sukhpal Singh Khehra regarding outsiders. Regarding which Sukhpal Singh Khehra's reaction has come. He said that my statement was misrepresented, he never spoke against the people of Bihar. Let us tell you that while addressing a rally in bihar, PM Modi said that a congress leader from punjab says that the people of bihar should be boycotted.

'Sad to see PM Modi's speech'

The prime minister criticized the Nehru-Gandhi family for maintaining silence on this issue. Khehra had come under attack from many political leaders for his comments made a few days ago. Khehra had said that on the lines of himachal pradesh, such a law should be made in punjab also so that non-Punjabis cannot buy land, become voters and also cannot take government jobs. Khehra was referring to the himachal pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972, which prevents non-Himachalis from purchasing agricultural land in the hill state. He said that a private bill in this regard was given to the punjab Assembly Speaker last year. Khehra, who is contesting the lok sabha elections from Sagrur on a congress ticket, said that I was saddened to see PM Modi's speech in bihar recently, where he misrepresented me.

Khehra said- 'Demand for law on the lines of Himachal, uttarakhand and Gujarat'

Congress leader Khehra said that he stands by his demand of making a law on the lines of Himachal, uttarakhand and gujarat to save the government jobs and demographic situation of Punjab. I also question the bjp gujarat government as to why it took away the ownership rights of the land from the Sikh farmers in the kutch region, which they had developed at the behest of late prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri?   Posting on X, Khehra said that I never used the word boycott or Bihari. We welcome people from bihar and UP coming to punjab for work.
