This case against the child was written on the complaints of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).

According to media reports, an FIR was registered against the minor for his alleged involvement in electricity theft based on the complaint of Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). In this case, the law enforcement agency presented a 3-year-old child in the court of Additional Sessions Judge but WAPDA and PESCO officials could not prove the alleged crime of the child. However, upon receiving the affidavit, the judge dismissed the case.
