Even though the general elections are over in AP, the fighting continues. There is tension in many areas. tdp and ycp leaders are attacking each other. Due to this, the locals are scared of what will happen. police have deployed additional forces in many areas where clashes are taking place. Section 144 applies in several areas. The situation is particularly tense in Kadapa , Anantapur, Kurnool, guntur and chittoor districts. There is a tense atmosphere in Jammalamadugu constituency of Kadapa district. Sitting mp Sudhir Reddy , BJP mla candidate Devgudi Adinarayana reddy and tdp assembly candidate kadapa Bhupesh Reddy were arrested by the police .A large number of policemen were deployed at the house of sitting mp Sudhir reddy in Nidigiv village of Erraguntla mandal and Adinarayana reddy and Bhupesh reddy in Devagudi village of jammalamadugu mandal. Similarly, the police have set up security at the offices ofYCP , BJP and tdp in Jammalamadugu. Leaders are limited to villages. Section 144 is in force throughout the constituency. At present there is a calm atmosphere.
There is tension in many parts of Nandyala district. police arrested tdp leader seema Sudhakar reddy from Doan constituency. seema Sudhakar reddy attacked the SCs during the recent Sri Rama Navami celebrations in Garladinne village of Pyapili Mandal. sudhakar Reddy, who was a ycp member at that time, was arrested by the police early on Wednesday .However, the police said that they were arrested as part of the investigation. When former mp Kotla Sujathamma sudhakar Reddy tried to protest against his arrest, the police used Section 144 to stop his protest. The police raided the house of tdp mla candidate Kotla Jaya Suryaprakash Reddy.
