Acting on which the police arrested Sarfaraz Shaikh (22), Majid Umar Shaikh (44) and Abdul Kader Shaikh (44). 1.655 kg of Mephedrone worth Rs 3.35 crore was recovered from these three accused.

Rajasthan factory exposed during investigation

DCP Mangesh Shinde tried to find out from where Mephedrone was purchased after the arrest of three accused in Mumbai. During the investigation, information was received about a drug factory in jodhpur, Rajasthan. Based on the call details of the three accused arrested from mumbai, the police first reached prashant Patil's person in pune and detained him. When the police interrogated prashant Patil, they got information about the factory in jodhpur where Mephedrone was manufactured.

Prashant Patil told the police that Hukumram Choudhary of jodhpur is running the factory at the behest of Sachin Kadam of Jodhpur. After this mumbai police reached jodhpur and detained Hukuram Chaudhary. During this time, the police also recovered Mephedrone and the raw material hidden in the warehouse for its manufacture. Whose price is around Rs 104 crores.
