Rajasthan: Bhilwara police accused of torture! 


Three policemen were suspended for forcing a man detained by the police to pluck hair from his beard in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district. An official gave this information on friday (May 10). A video related to the case went viral on social media on friday, in which a person named suresh gurjar is seen plucking the hair from his beard. It is alleged that the policemen forced him to do so. However, no policeman is visible in the video. After the video surdata-faced, Mandal mla Uday Lal Bhadana met Superintendent of police Rajan Dushyant and demanded action. Taking cognizance of the complaint, the Superintendent of police suspended Pratap nagar police station in-charge Sugan Singh, ASI Mahendra Khoji and constable Banwari Lal.


The officer said that suspension action was taken for causing trouble during interrogation. He told that suresh gurjar was arrested by the police on May 8 in an assault case. Let us tell you that one of the accused in the deadly attack was forcefully asked by the policemen to pluck the hair of his beard from last night. A video of which was made viral on social media. The video kept going viral on social media throughout the day on Friday. Gradually, anger increased among the gurjar community regarding the viral video.

In protest against the viral video, mla Uday Lal Bhadana along with the delegation of gurjar community met the collector and Superintendent of Police. They submitted a memorandum demanding strict action against the accused policemen. bjp mla Udaylal Bhadana said that Pratapnagar police personnel had detained suresh Gurjar. He further said that during interrogation in the police station premises Pratap nagar Bhilwara, he was tortured and the hair of his beard was plucked out by himself. Also, the police personnel made the video and made it viral on social media, which is very wrong. mla Bhadana said that no one is above the law and no such action will be tolerated.
