YCP Jagan's Promises: Calculated?

In Andhra Pradesh, both the ruling and opposition parties are vying for public support by announcing various offerings and releasing manifestos. Recently, YS jagan released Manifesto on behalf of the ruling party, which garnered widespread attention for its inclusive approach, extending benefits not only based on caste but also onreligion.

The manifesto outlines a range of provisions aimed at different communities:


BC Declaration: Special Acts are promised, along with an expenditure of Rs. 1.5 crores over five years through bc sub-plans. Additionally, 34% reservation in nominated posts by local bodies and a resolution for 33% reservation for BCs in legislatures have been proposed.


Yadava/Kuraba Community: A budget of Rs. 10,000 crores over five years is earmarked for self-employment opportunities.


Nayi Brahmins: Temple workers among Nayi Brahmins will receive an honorarium of Rs. 25,000, along with 200 units of free electricity for their shops.


Welfare of Muslim Minorities: Promises include pensions after 50 years, provision of spaces for mosques, establishment of the Noor language Corporation with a Rs. 100 crore allocation, and up to Rs. 5 lakhs through the Minority Financier Corporation, including interest-free loans. Imams and Qazis will receive Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 5,000 respectivelyper month, with eligible imams appointed as government Qazis. Financial assistance of Rs. 5,000 per month will be provided for mosque maintenance.


Christians: The manifesto pledges the establishment of a Christian Missionary Properties Development Board and the allocation of space for graveyards. Financial assistance will also be provided to Jerusalem pilgrims.


These promises, aimed at fostering the welfare of diverse communities, reflect the ruling party's commitment to inclusive governance and addressing the needs of all sections of society.
