Reportedly in maharashtra, congress will on thursday finalize the seat sharing for the lok sabha elections with shiv sena (UBT) and Sharad Pawar's (Nationalist congress Party) faction. In this election, congress will contest on about 19 seats in the state. Sources said that as per the discussions held so far with different allies, shiv sena (UBT) is likely to contest on 23 seats and NCP's sharad pawar faction will field its candidates on six seats. maharashtra has 48 lok sabha seats, which is the highest after Uttar Pradesh (80 seats). Meanwhile, according to maharashtra congress sources, congress has named potential candidates for 11 seats in Maharashtra.
