Voting will be held on june 1 in the seventh phase on all 13 lok sabha seats of Punjab. congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa has raised questions on the timing of lok sabha elections in Punjab. He said that at that time the focus of farmers will be on sowing of paddy. Bajwa said that elections in punjab should have been conducted in the same phase as in haryana or Rajasthan.

While talking to the media, Pratap Singh Bajwa said that sowing of paddy in punjab starts in the third week of May and continues till the second week of July. He said that when voting will be held on june 1, the focus of all farmers and agricultural laborers will be on sowing of crops.
