Will Mayawati's close associates join SP?

Reportedly the politics of political alliance is being played by both the sides in UP regarding the upcoming lok sabha elections. Both bjp and Samajwadi party are busy in strengthening their clan. Meanwhile, Guddu Jamali, a veteran BSP leader from Azamgarh and a big social worker who has been mla several times, can join the Samajwadi Party. If this happens, then SP can also make him a candidate from Azamgarh seat.

Meanwhile these days the discussion about Guddu Jamali is intense. If reports are to be believed, he may join Samajwadi party on 28th February. His talks with SP are almost finalized, now only the announcement is yet to be made. This is also confirmed by the fact that SP leader IP Singh himself has made this claim about him. IP Singh wrote on X, 'The joining of the great social worker Mr. Guddu Jamali, who has been mla from Azamgarh several times, in the Samajwadi party will be a pleasant aspect for all of us in the party.' It is being speculated that if Guddu Jamali joins Samajwadi party, akhilesh yadav can make him the candidate from Azamgarh seat. If this happens, the contest with bjp on this seat will become very interesting.

Guddu Jamali is a resident of Mubarakpur, Azamgarh and is a big businessman. In the year 2022, he had contested the by-election from Azamgarh lok sabha seat on BSP ticket. Whereas on behalf of SP, Akhilesh Yadav's cousin dharmendra Yadav was made the candidate. dharmendra Yadav had to data-face defeat in this by-election and BJP's Dinesh Lal Nirahua had won the election. Azamgarh seat has been the stronghold of Samajwadi Party. akhilesh yadav had won this seat in 2019, but when he resigned from this seat after the UP assembly elections, this seat was lost to SP in the by-election. Guddu Jamali became the biggest reason behind the defeat of dharmendra Yadav. In this by-election, BJP's Dinesh Lal Nirahua got 3,12,768 votes. While SP candidate dharmendra Yadav got 3,04,089 votes and Guddu Jamali got 2,66,210 votes. If BSP had not fielded him, SP could have won from here.
