Manohar Lal Khattar referred to Farmers' earlier Agitation against now-repealed Agricultural Laws

According to sources Rashtriya Lok Dal leader Jayant Chaudhary has given the first reaction on the farmers' movement. He said that the problem should be solved through talks. The rajya sabha MP said that our stand was the same earlier also, it is the same today and the problem of farmers should be solved through talks. The RLD chief said that any problem in the world can be solved through talks.

Meanwhile let us tell you that a large number of farmers are stuck on the data-borders of Delhi. Their demand is that a law should be made on MSP and compensation should be given to the families of the farmers killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri incident. Apart from this, farmers should be freed from the electricity Bill Act 2020. On the other hand, haryana Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on thursday criticized the 'methods' of the farmers to get their demands met, saying that they are trying to march towards delhi like an army going to attack. He told that farmers are moving forward like an army with tractor trolley, earth mover and one year's ration.

Moreover on the farmers' call of 'Dilli Chalo', Khattar said, 'We have objection to their method. We have no objection to his going to Delhi. They have trains, buses and their own vehicles. But tractor is not a means of transportation. This is an agricultural equipment. Farmers of punjab are camping at Shambhu and Khanauri data-borders to march towards delhi to put pressure on the Center regarding their demands. Farmer leaders said that they will not make any new attempt to move towards delhi until the meeting with the central government. He said that further action will be decided on the basis of the Centre's proposals. Khattar also referred to the farmers' earlier agitation against the now-repealed agricultural laws and said that they camped at Tikri and Singhu data-borders for a year and caused trouble to many people.
