Traffic diverted on DND, know- what is new in the new advisory?

The farmers of punjab and haryana are marching to delhi for two days. On tuesday afternoon, there is deep dissatisfaction among the farmers due to the police action after the protesting farmers remained adamant on moving towards delhi near Shambhu data-border. It has had a direct impact on the law and order situation of Delhi. After the Shambhu data-border incident, delhi police has started afresh the work of strengthening the security preparations. Accordingly, some changes have now been made in the traffic diversion plan. In the new traffic advisory, delhi police has asked people traveling from noida to delhi to take the Chilla data-border route.

delhi traffic police has said in its traffic alert that due to deployment of pickets and checking on DND Flyway, traffic on both the carriageways of the flyway is likely to be affected on Wednesday. Keeping this in mind, it would be better for passengers going from noida to delhi to proceed via Chilla data-border. delhi police had issued a traffic advisory in view of the farmers' delhi march protests, informing people about restrictions on vehicular movement at three data-borders of the national capital.

delhi police has said in the traffic advisory that interstate buses going from National Highway-44 towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal etc. should go from ISBT to Majnun Ka Tila via Signature Bridge via Khajuri Chowk to KMP via Loni Border and Khekra. Heavy goods vehicles wishing to go towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal etc. via NH-44 would be better off going through Harish Chandra Hospital intersection at NH-44 (DSIIDC) intersection via Bawana Road crossing to Bawana Chowk and beyond.

Similarly, heavy goods vehicles desirous of going towards Bahadurgarh, rohtak etc. will go from Outer Ring Road to Mukarba Chowk via Madhuban Chowk via Bhagwan Mahavir Road via Rithala to Kanjhawala Road-Karala T-Point from Kanjhawala Chowk to Jonati village to Jonati Border/Nizampur Border. Enter the village Bamnoli of haryana by going to and further from Nahara-Nahari Road till Bahadurgarh Road and proceed further.

Car drivers and light goods vehicles wishing to go towards Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal etc. via NH-44 should take Exit 1 (NH-44) from Alipur Cut to Shani Mandir, Palla Bakhtawarpur Road Y-Point via Dahisra Gaon Road to Jatti Kalan. By road, one can go from Singhu Stadium towards Sonipat in haryana on NH-44.
