Regarding which Haryana's boxer and bjp leader Vijender Singh has requested the haryana government to take cognizance of the matter.Vijender Singh posted on his social media account X that "HPS officers recruited directly from sports quota in haryana have not been considered confirmed from the date of appointment, due to which they are lagging behind in the seniority list and their promotion is not being done. The haryana government is requested to take cognizance of this matter so that sports officers can get justice".What did the high court have to say on the matter?While staying the IPS promotion process, the high court had said that there is no provision for promotion on the basis of gradation list. Therefore, this process cannot be taken forward. Let us tell you that Jogendra Sharma, Sardar Singh, Gitika Jakhar, mamta Kharab, posted as DSP in haryana, had filed a petition in the high court challenging the seniority order. Their lawyer had told the high court that they were not confirmed after the appointment. Therefore, they are lagging behind in seniority.The petitioners had made this appealThe petitioners had made an appeal in the court. They should be confirmed from the date of their appointment so that they can also get the benefit of promotion. Along with this, the haryana government had said that they can be given the benefit of seniority from the date of confirmation. But before being confirmed, they will also have to complete the training and other formalities of the department. Because this process was not completed due to direct recruitment of DSP from sports quota.
