The Samyukta Kisan Morcha has called upon farmers' unions across the country to participate in their all-out strike on the 16th. Farmers from punjab and haryana are protesting 'Delhi Chalo' (Towards Delhi) with various demands. Due to this, the data-borders of the capital delhi are under severe tension. The farmers' unions leading the 'Delhi Salo' protest had announced a complete blockade to fulfill their demands. According to reports, the farmers have demanded pensions for farmers, the minimum selling price for crops, implementation of the old pension scheme, and withdrawal of amendments in labor laws. Apart from this, the farmers' associations have put forward many demands. The most important of their demands are that the government should not hire its employees on a contractual basis, employment should be guaranteed and public sector enterprises should not be privatized.
In this case, Samyukta Kisan Morsa, a farmer's association, like-minded farmers' associations across the country will come on Feb. It has called for participation in the Gramin Bharat Banth (Gramin Bharat Banth) to be held on 16th. The Bharat Bandh called by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha organization along with central trade unions has been announced to be held on february 16 from 6 am to 4 pm. It has been announced that not only the Bharat Bandh will be held during the day, but the farmers will also go on strike on major roads from 12 noon to 4 pm across the country. Also, it is said that most of the state and national highways in punjab will be closed for four hours on february 16.
It is also said that this declaration of protest by the farmers will affect normal life very much. The impact of this protest will be greater in delhi and its surrounding states. In particular, shops, private offices, factories, and service sector companies in small towns were closed on Feb. It will be closed on 16th. It seems that the bandh will also ban transport, exchange of goods, agricultural activities, and a 100-day work plan.
However, there will be no problem with emergency services such as ambulance operations, newspaper delivery, dispensaries, and marriage. In particular, it has been informed that the students who are going to write the exam in the school will not be prevented.
