Telangana - Rain and Political Parties in Hyderabad

SIBY JEYYA
In the lead-up to the May 13 lok sabha elections, political parties used Tuesday's intense rains in the city to engage with the people in a variety of ways. To assist the public, the bjp, AIMIM, Congress, and even the BRS took action and demonstrated their willingness to wade into murky waters.

When the local bjp leaders in Himayatnagar division learned that a tree had fallen over the road, they hurried to the scene to remove the obstruction and lessen the suffering of the locals. Following their interactions with the public, the bjp leaders pledged to support them in whatever manner they could during this time of distress.

The leaders of the AIMIM party were responding to public complaints including power shortages, flooding in low-lying areas, and tree felling while out in the field in Hyderabad's old city. Everyone was going about and interacting with the public, from local leaders to MLAs. To address the problem, the leaders had a conversation with ghmc representatives.

Congressman feroz khan of the nampally Assembly Constituency interacted with members of the public while touring many parts of the town with his entourage. He discussed his concerns with the officials throughout their conversation. The BRS party workers did not disappear; in many locations, the pink party workers could be seen interacting with the people and circulating the regions hit by the rain.

While this was going on, campaign leaders in the city carried on with their road shows and open forums despite the rain in a few places. Political parties are anticipated to use the rains in the upcoming days to attack their rivals and begin relief efforts.
