Chandra Babu's defection vs Jagan's corruption?
AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu who takes pride of taking a moral stand on all issues shocked all when he inducted YSRCP rebel MLAs in his cabinet during the recent cabinet expansion. This came as surprise to all political analysts as the same TDP has been crying foul when Telangana CM KCR made its MLAs, ministers in his cabinet.
T-TDP leaders like Revanth Reddy even approached High Court and demanded disqualification of the defected MLAs. But Chandra Babu inducted defected MLAs from YSRCP into his cabinet to make inroads into Jagan's strongholds in the state.
Jagan flew to Delhi to complain against Chandra Babu Naidu's actions to the President Pranab Mukherjee, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and various national leaders. Jagan also claimed that he was falsely implicated in the corruption cases after Chandra Babu and Sonia Gandhi colluded against him.
However Chandra Babu's TDP is using ED's corruption cases on Jagan to divert attention from the defection issue. TDP is also countering that YSRCP MLAs joining TDP donot amount to defection. It said YSCP MLAs got detached from Jagan as he was against the development of the state.
