Late bollywood actor sushant singh Rajput's former house manager Samuel Miranda has approached the bombay high court to quash the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against him by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The cbi is currently investigating the First Information Report (FIR) filed by Rajput's father accusing him of abetment of suicide. Let us know what the whole matter is.
It is noteworthy that after the demise of Samuel Miranda, he data-faced a legal investigation and was later arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau in september 2020. However, he was granted bail in october 2020. Now he has demanded to cancel the LOC issued against him.
Samuel Miranda had allegedly helped rhea chakraborty and bought a SIM card for sushant singh rajput in his name. In his petition, Samuel Miranda argued that since the LOC issued against rhea chakraborty was recently canceled, he should be treated the same.
Samuel said that he wants to travel abroad for holidays with his wife and family. Miranda claims that the LOC against him is arbitrary and unreasonable and lacks the proper application of mind. Considering their cooperation in the investigation and no significant progress even after four years, they believe that the LOC should be canceled.
Miranda also highlighted that the indefinite issuance of LOC is a violation of their constitutional right to travel abroad guaranteed by Article 21. He explained that although his bail conditions already prevent him from leaving the country without the prior permission of the NDPS court, he is ready to submit.
