Due to the sharp decline seen in the collection of the film 'Shaitan' on monday, it is now looking difficult for it to cross the earning figure of Rs 100 crore in the first week. The budget of the film is around Rs 65 crore and it has to earn at least Rs 130 crore at the domestic box office to qualify as a hit. The film earned well in the first three days of its release due to the curiosity created by its trailer, but the film failed in the monday test. According to Monday's test, the film should have earned at least Rs 10 crore at the box office.

The film 'Shaitan' earned around Rs 54 crore at the domestic box office in the first three days of its release. This is about Rs 10 crore less than the first-weekend collection of ajay Devgan's previous hit film 'Drishyam 2'.
