Assembly and parliament elections were held in andhra pradesh state in the year 2014 after the separation of the united state of Andhra Pradesh. tdp party got a huge majority in this election. After the separation of the united andhra pradesh state, the tdp party formed the government in the andhra pradesh state under the presidency of Chandrababu Naidu.
And the people of andhra pradesh are not very satisfied with the work done by them during their five years of administration. With that, the people of andhra pradesh gave the highest majority to the ycp party than the tdp party in the 2019 assembly elections. With that, the ycp party came to power in the state of andhra pradesh under the chairmanship of jagan Mohan reddy who is the son of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
After jagan became CM, he has been giving priority to farmers, poor people, women, unemployed people... he has also been giving importance to government employees at the same level. With that, the government employees started showing a lot of love to him. jagan is likely to get a huge amount of votes from the government employees in the next election.
Otherwise, it seems that ycp is going to get a huge lead especially through postal ballot votes. There are 4.3 lakh postal ballot votes in the entire state of Andhra Pradesh. Out of which 1.2 lakh secretariat employees votes, two lakh government employees, 40000 police officers, 28 under home voting category and 31 thousand under essential service votes. It seems that ycp is going to get the majority of these votes.
