Chris Evans has spent years playing superheroes who save the world. Now, Netflix is throwing him into a nightmare where he may not even be able to save himself. The first trailer for Sacrifice has arrived, and it wastes absolutely no time revealing its gloriously bizarre premise: Evans’ movie star is kidnapped by Anya Taylor-Joy’s radical warrior, who has a very specific destination in mind for him — a volcano.
1. Hollywood glamour turns into absolute chaos: The story begins at a lavish charity gala packed with celebrities and wealthy elites. Evans plays Mike Tyler, a movie star going through an existential crisis and desperately searching for redemption. But his glamorous evening takes a savage turn when Joan, played by Taylor-Joy, and her followers storm the event and take hostages.
