Digital Release Deal failed for Trisha movie
trisha who is on cloud nine with the success of 'Hey Jude' is still upset as her last release in her mother tongue tamil came in the year 2019. She never had any releases in 2017 and despite having 7 projects under her kitty, and tasting success with '96' there are no buyers for her next.
In this case, there were reports that her next release is going to be 'Garjanai' which is a Horror/Comedy genre. As expected the movie failed to get a release. In this case, just like Jyothika's 'Ponmagal Vandhaal', the makers planned to release this movie also on OTT platform and had a deal with leading OTT platforms.
But, sadly the cut hasn't been made and the makers are upset. Now, the makers are waiting for a theatrical release as earlier. It should be noted that, Trisha's 'Paramapatham Vilayaatu' which was likely to release by february got postponed due to lack of theaters and then Corona pandemic happened and now it has gone to shelves.
