Following the success of the movie, it was announced that the telugu remake of this movie will begin with ram pothineni starring in it and directed by his nenu sailaja maker kishore Tirumala and Bankrolled by Sravanthi ravi Kishore.
However, reportedly after the successful result of his latest mass entertainer ismart shankar ram pothineni has decided not to do thadam remake and has reportedly decided to move on to the sequel to ismart shankar titled as Double iSmart again by puri Jagannath.
