Prashanth Neel's kannada film Bagheera was marketed as a pan-Indian production. Because of Neel's affiliation and Hombale Films' involvement, it generated some excitement. Nevertheless, it brought in about Rs 30 crore globally at the end of its theatrical run. Netflix has just begun to broadcast the movie.
The first kannada film available for streaming on Netflix is Bagheera. The major stars associated with the movie helped the platform gain its rights. The feedback on OTT has been good. The performances of Prakash Raj, achyuth Kumar, and Srii murali were well received by the audience. The action sequences, background music, and technical proficiency were particularly noteworthy.

The action and production qualities keep the film interesting despite its expected and ordinary plot. The performance of Bagheera on OTT is superior than that of its theatrical release. Despite being a mediocre box office success, its excellent action sequences and superb filmmaking have helped movie become more well-known online. The film has found a new audience on Netflix, as seen by the positive reviews it is getting.

The kannada industry is relieved to have Bagheera after Martin and Kabzaa's flops. Since its OTT debut, it has not encountered any social media trolling or criticism. This demonstrates that if the material is engaging and well-packaged, even mediocre theatrical films may do well on over-the-top (OTT) platforms.
