Mohanlal Hospitalized with Suspected Viral Respiratory Infection
Mohanlal, the renowned mollywood actor, has been admitted to the hospital due to a high fever, breathing difficulties, and muscle pain, as reported by the Times of India. His condition has raised concerns among fans and the film industry, with doctors suspecting a viral respiratory infection. The hospital issued a statement saying, “Mr. mohanlal, a 64-year-old male with MRD No. 1198168, is experiencing high-grade fever, breathing issues, and generalized muscle pain. He is suspected to have a viral respiratory infection and has been advised to take medication, rest for five days, and avoid crowded places.” mohanlal, who recently returned to Kochi, Kerala, after filming L2: Empuraan in Gujarat, is currently receiving care at amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.

Two weeks ago, mohanlal, who holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the indian Territorial army, visited the landslide-affected area in wayanad to offer aid. Dressed in his army uniform, he met with officers and visited the impacted regions. Honored with the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2009, mohanlal showed his dedication to service by providing support during this crisis.
On the professional front, mohanlal is set to collaborate again with acclaimed filmmaker sathyan Anthikad for the film Hridayapoorvam. This project, confirmed a few months ago, is expected to commence soon. mohanlal is anticipated to play a role similar to his character in the hit film Neru.
