ZERO Farmer Suicides in Telangana Under Revanth Reddy: NCRB Data Drops a Nuclear Bomb on Opposition & Godi Media

SIBY JEYYA

In a country where prime-time television often thrives on outrage, religious flashpoints, and nonstop political theatre, a major claim from telangana has suddenly sparked intense debate online. Supporters of the congress government are pointing to NCRB-linked data and claiming that telangana reported zero farmer suicides under the current administration — a statistic they say should have dominated national headlines. Instead, they argue, the story barely received attention outside social media circles.

That silence is exactly what has triggered strong reactions.

For many, the issue is no longer just about numbers — it’s about what the media chooses to amplify and what quietly disappears from the news cycle. Critics online claim that channels are far more interested in endless Hindu-Muslim debates and political polarization than in highlighting governance-related developments, especially when they don’t fit a larger national narrative.

At the centre of this conversation is Anumula revanth Reddy, who has increasingly built an image as an aggressive, high-energy administrator since taking office. His supporters say welfare schemes, loan waivers, and farmer-focused interventions are beginning to show visible results on the ground. They argue that even political opponents are struggling to ignore the changing perception around his leadership.

At the same time, the issue remains politically contested.

Some farmer groups and opposition voices have questioned official narratives around suicide data in telangana, arguing that ground-level realities may be more complicated than headline figures suggest.

But regardless of which side people believe, one thing is undeniable: the discussion has exposed growing frustration with how political achievements — or alleged achievements — are covered in India.

Because in today’s media environment, perception often matters more than policy.

And supporters of the telangana government believe this story proves exactly that.
