14 Patanjali product licenses suspended in Uttarakhand...

According to a notice dated april 24, the uttarakhand government regulator has stopped the manufacturing licenses of 14 goods manufactured by baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved. The order from the uttarakhand government is still confidential. According to the government decision, the licenses have been placed on hold because the holders have regularly published false claims regarding their effectiveness. Ramdev has been under fire from the supreme Court in recent weeks for disobeying court orders to stop running deceptive ads for some of his products. Tomorrow, april 30, the supreme court will hear Patanjali's case to decide whether to charge Ramdev with contempt.

Dr. RV Asokan, the president of the indian Medical Association, gave an explanation of why the IMA brought Patanjali to court earlier today. He said that Ramdev went too far when he asserted that he could cure COVID-19 while also disparaging established medicine. According to Asokan, Ramdev disregarded the medical community when he declared that "modern medicine is a stupid and bankrupt science" in an interview with the news agency PTI. The IMA filed a 2022 petition with the supreme court, claiming that the COVID immunization campaign and contemporary medical systems are the targets of a smear campaign.

Allegedly captured on camera in 2021, Ramdev declared, "Medicines like Remdesivir, Fabiflu, and other drugs approved by the drugs Controller General of india have failed to treat COVID-19 patients. Allopathy is a stupid science."He received a legal letter from the IMA after making comments that sparked widespread controversy. A public apology for disobeying the court's instructions regarding deceptive advertisements was demanded last month by Patanjali Ayurved Ltd, Ramdev, and his assistant acharya Balakrishnan. The indian Medical Association, the petitioner, was taken to task by the court during a hearing on april 23 when it was revealed that members of the association also prescribe costly and needless medications. It made reference to other accusations that claimed the IMA had acted unethically.
