Telangana - TSRTC staff to get 43.2 % DA

As part of the salary adjustment, the telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has finalized a 43.2% Dearness Allowance (DA) for its workers. Following the pay adjustment, the new DA will be computed based on the basic salary and paid as part of the compensation. In addition, rtc personnel with the most recent wage revision will be eligible for the house Rent Allowance (HRA), which was recently amended by the State government.

The pay of rtc personnel will significantly improve as a result of the HRA modification. The rtc staff had been a little concerned earlier since their most recent pay had not increased as expected. After the current 31.8 percent of DA is combined with the employee's base salary, the total DA will be around 43.2%.

RTC personnel receive their Dearness Allowances, whereas State government employees still owe four installments in arrears for their DA. For rtc personnel, seven installments of deferred compensation were already announced. The government quickly paid the DA dues as a result of the persistent requests made by labor unions that represent rtc personnel and the vigorous actions conducted by TSRTC Managing director VC Sajjanar. The stage is now set for Telangana's rtc staff to start receiving their pay based on the amended DA, with all outstanding debts settled.
