Claiming that 180 farmers had committed suicide during the 100 days of congress administration, former minister T harish rao asked that the congress government compensate the farmers with Rs. 25,000 per acre. Farmers have experienced problems with electricity and water supplies ever since the congress took office.

Aside from this, motors were blowing up and transformers were burning up. He accused the congress Ministers of failing to console the grieving families, even as farmers committed suicide.

Following his sunday interactions with farmers in the Palakurthy seat, harish rao declared, "Chief minister A revanth reddy is keen on opening gates for leaders to join the congress but is not opening gates for farmers to provide water."

The unfortunate thing was that even though the congress administration had access to water from the River Godavari, the farming community was not receiving it.

According to him, as a result, almost 20 lakh acres of agricultural land dried up and many more standing crops suffered damage from unseasonal rainfall. The former minister chastised the congress, particularly for not keeping the promises given to the farmers. The congress had promised the farmers the moon before the assembly elections.

After 100 days, the Rs. 2 lakh agricultural loan forgiveness that was supposed to take effect on december 9 has not been applied.

In a same vein, he said that although farmers were not receiving the Rs. 10,000 that the BRS administration had provided, they had been promised Rs. 15,000 under Rythu Bharosa. Farmers, tenant farmers, and agricultural laborers had all been deceived by Congress.

He went on to say that the Ministers had to, at the very least, put hyderabad politics aside right now in order to examine the damaged crops and assist the farmers.
