Telangana - BRS MLA booked for threatening police

BRS huzurabad mla Padi Koushik reddy was reported to the karimnagar One Town police for allegedly threatening law enforcement. During a meeting at the Prathima Multiplex Hotel in karimnagar, the mla declared that police are filing spurious complaints against BRS party employees, and he promised to discipline the officers once the party obtains power. After receiving a complaint from a social worker, the police opened an investigation under sections 153, 506, 504, and 505 (2).

Padi kaushik Reddy, the BRS mla for huzurabad, has been charged with a crime for disrespectfully disparaging the police. The complaint regarding his comments prompted the filing of the case in Karimnagar. This month's seventh saw a gathering in karimnagar with activists, important leaders, and kaushik Reddy. In this meeting, kaushik Reddy claimed that BRS activists were being harassed by the police and threatened to repay them with interest if they ever got back in power.
 

Local resident ashish Goud lodged a complaint at the karimnagar One Town police station after being offended by kaushik Reddy's remarks criticizing the police. He claimed that kaushik Reddy insulted law enforcement in his speech and called for swift action to be taken against him. In response to a complaint by ashish Goud, the karimnagar police filed a criminal case against kaushik Reddy.
