Telangana - Fake Certificate Racket busted

The jagtial police stated on saturday that they had cracked a bogus certificate fraud in telangana and that four people had been detained in connection with it.
 
As per the statement made by jagtial Superintendent of police Sunpreet Singh, Rabi Rai, a West Bengali, was engaged in the counterfeiting of certifications from different establishments. His involvement was discovered when Kodithala Mahesh's mother, Bathinoju Rajitha (33), contacted him to obtain a C pass certificate so that Kodithala Mahesh could obtain a passport bearing an Emigration Check Not Required stamp to secure employment overseas. Upon verification, the police discovered that the certificate was fraudulent.
 
As a result, the police began looking into the false certificate industry and found the gang that was behind it.
 
Sunpreet Singh went on to say that rajitha had obtained a forged certificate and stolen Rs 28,000 from Mahesh, which he had used to apply for a passport.
 
A police officer stated, "Today, 395 phony certificates from various institutions, 5 mobile phones, a laptop, a CPU, and a two-wheeler were confiscated from Rajitha, her husband Shravan Kumar, Mahesh, and Chandraiah.
 

Rajitha reportedly deposited Rs 15.41 lakh to Rabi Rai's mother Laxmi Rai's account, according to the SP.
 
He went on, "Rabi Rai and Laxmi Rai are running away."
 
He said that an investigation is being conducted to find out how many persons were able to get the phony credentials.
