It has come to light that many certifications were granted without the required paperwork, which raises questions about the veracity of these documents.

According to sources, since November, the Falaknuma circle has issued some 80 birth and death certificates without the required paperwork. The necessary non-availability certificates (NAC), which are necessary for births and deaths that take place outside of hospitals or for which there are no hospital records, are missing from these certificates.

Attested by the appropriate birth and death registrars, the NAC is an essential document required for the issue of birth and death certificates. The validity of the issued certificates is called into doubt in the absence of this proof.

These anomalies have prompted an investigation, with a special focus on cases in which certifications were granted without the required NACs.

According to reports, higher officials are supervising the inquiry to ascertain the scope of the problem and pinpoint the individuals accountable for the oversight.

This event is similar to a more widespread fraud that was discovered at the ghmc two years ago when it was discovered that thousands of certificates had been given using forged paperwork.

After the information was made public, the then-Commissioner, D.S. lokesh Kumar, moved quickly to address the fraudulent activities and revoked almost 26,000 certifications that the company had given. This response demonstrated the critical necessity of addressing such actions in order to maintain the integrity of important records.
