Tuesday morning at malla reddy Engineering college, tensions were high as students, headed by the student organization of the congress party, the National students Organization of india (NSUI), mounted a demonstration in front of the main gate, accusing the college of serving poor food.

Students staged a protest on campus monday night, alleging that they had discovered insects in rice and other food products. They held signs that said, "We Want Justice." In the past month, there have been three strikes by students. When the police arrived on the scene and confronted the students, the issue came to an end.

On tuesday morning, however, students and student unions organized another dharna to express their continued discovery of insects in rice at malla reddy College. After malla reddy (former minister Malla Reddy) pledged to take preventative action to stop insects from returning, the students withdrew. However, the students are seeking justice because they are fed up with the fact that the same problem keeps coming again.

Students' protests on the Gandi Maisamma campus of mallareddy Engineering college created a tense atmosphere. The students, who are mostly hostellers, said that the food they were given had worms and insects. They said that this was not the first incidence of that nature to have happened on campus. Officials from the hostel made fruitless attempts to calm the youngsters.
