Three students who were taking the intermediate exam were sent away from the testing center after they arrived for the exam one minute late. On Wednesday, february 28, the event happened at Siddhartha junior college in the Vikarabad district. Two of the three teenagers can be seen on camera pleading with police officers to let them inside. But the officials declined.
"There is nothing we can do. police can be heard stating, "There are strict instructions from officials examining to not allow anyone after 9 am," even though one of the students is visibly sobbing. Students who come to the test center after 9 am will not be permitted entry into the exam hall, as notified by the telangana State Board of Intermediate education (TSBIE). The examination window is set for february 28 to march 19.

A total of 9,80,978 students have applied for the exams. While 4,78,718 students are appearing for the first-year exams, 5,02,260 students will take second-year exams. To ensure a seamless exam administration, the Board has assigned 27,900 invigilators. To verify copying, it also used 200 seated squads and 75 flying quads. Because of the last document leak, the authorities have implemented several preventative measures. The intermediate tests are scheduled to run through march 19.
